Description of site:
An area of intertidal mudfiats and sand flats with offshore coral reefs around a small island off the northern tip of Luzon. The island is 10 km long by up to 4.5 km wide, and has a maximum elevation of 307m.

Humid tropical climate with the rainfall more or less evenly distributed throughout the year (Type IV).
