Description of site:
A large area of coastal mangrove swamps and intertidal mudflats on the north coast of Bohol east from the region of Jetafe to the Tulang Point area and around several nearby offshore islands including Mahanay, Banacon and Handayan.
Climatic conditions:
Humid tropical climate with the rainfall more or less evenly distributed throughout the year (Type IV).
