No information. The lake may have some potential for outdoor recreation and tourism.

Fauna:
Little information is available. The lake is known to support a population of the endemic fish Oryzias celebensis (Adrianichthyidae), and may still support a population of T. ladigesi (Atherinidae). Both these species are known only from this lake and Lake Tempe, six km to the southeast (site 94).
