The Moths of Borneo is a major part work production, estimated to run to 18 volumes covering all the 'macro' moths recorded from Borneo, currently estimated at some 4,500 species, all of which are illustrated in color. Eleven parts have already been published, with seven more to come. As a result of contacts with University Sarawak Malaysia, ARBEC and The Natural History Museum London as well as ASEAN Regional Centre for Biodiversity Conservation (ARCBC), it was decided to put the whole work online. So far volumes 3 and 14 have been put online.

The National Herbarium in Leiden has on line scanned photographs of 50,000 type specimens of plants from the Malaysian region. For instance several thousand for Philippines.

The Smithsonian Institute holds a complete list of mammals of the world with distribution details and taxonomic notes, synonyms etc.
